Change default save format Office 2007
Tuesday, March 4th, 2008If you frequently save Microsoft Office 2007 documents as Office 2003-97 (.doc) files, you can change the settings for Office 2007 to save in this format by default.
For Word 2007
- Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Word Options.
- Click Save.
- Under Save documents, next to Save files in this format, select Word 97-2003 Document (*.doc)
For Excel 2007
- Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Excel Options.
- Click Save.
- Under Save workbooks, next to Save files in this format, select Excel 97-2003 Workbook (*.xls)
For PowerPoint 2007
- Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click PowerPoint Options.
- Click Save.
- Under Save documents, next to Save files in this format, select PowerPoint Presentation 97-2003
